Cyber attacks threaten governments, corporations and individuals to extract financial or strategic information. Using increasingly sophisticated methods, sometimes combined with coercion and more traditional corporate espionage, hostile organizations gain access to critical intellectual property, trade and national secrets. In the wrong hands, this information threations our national security and our corporations' futures.
Imadgen is supporting government and commercial enterprises in defending networks, applications and data. In a joint production with the Park City Center for Public Policy, we hosted Defending Cyberspace™ 2008, a symposium that focused on the growing threat of cyberattacks and cyberespionage and the techniques to counter these threats. As an outcome of this conference, Thomas H. Stanton of the Center for the Study of American Government at Johns Hopkins University, authored "Defending Cyberspace:Protecting Individuals, Government Agencies and Private Companies Against Persistent and Evolving Threats."
