Many aspects of planning for disasters and improving security involve tradeoffs between time, cost and convenience. Imadgen supports public and private organizations define and implement appropriate risk models that balance these tradeoffs.
Imadgen is currently supporting a consortium of state health and human services organizations and the USDA SNAP to develop plans for rapid benefit delivery in the aftermath of natural or other disasters. Some of these plans were tested during the aftermath of Hurricane Gustav.
As part of the collaborative effort, Imadgen is supporting a collaborative site that is being used by participants to share knowledge and best practices concerning service delivery during times of disaster.
